These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Career Technologies Pty Ltd (ACN 647 627 414), trading as MentorPlace ("we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of the mentorplace.com website and associated services. By accessing or using MentorPlace, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or using any of our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease use of MentorPlace.

Intellectual Property

The MentorPlace platform — including all content, software, designs, trademarks, and associated intellectual property — is owned by or licensed to Career Technologies Pty Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any MentorPlace content without our prior written consent.

User Representations

By using MentorPlace, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into and comply with these Terms
  • You will not use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Your use will not violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • You will not provide false or misleading information in your profile or communications

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
  • Upload or transmit viruses or other malicious code
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without authorisation
  • Use the platform in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation

Disclaimer of Warranties

The MentorPlace platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MentorPlace and Career Technologies Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to our website. Your continued use of MentorPlace after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
